I had to run 17 miles this morning (NOT my cherished memory of the day). Dave and Natasha held the fort down while I logged the miles. When I got back we hit the cafe on the Harbor to grab a bite to eat. Food was delish, the view exciting (2 submarines came through) AND D and Tash treated... so really, it couldn't have been any better! Well, maybe if my kids could have kept their hands off my waffle!
The day was cloudy and overcast. It matched my mood. The fam leaves tomorrow. One tries to not dwell on it, but the inevitable is always there... sitting on our shoulder. It has been blessed week. And blessed weeks always fly by with an intensity that rivals the F-16. Breakfast today with my brother and soon to be sister in law was a good start to the long good-bye that will be here tomorrow night. We are going to miss them...
