All three and me

I got a few minutes today of floor time with all three of my babies (well five, if you count the dogs).  We were all just there, together, with no real agenda.  It didn't last long, but in those few moments there were no tears, no fights, no whining.  Just us and some random thoughts.  It was the kind of moment I imagine myself longing for when they are grown and have gone their separate ways, in their separate lives and we no longer share the same dog-hair coated living room floor.  But for now, that space is ours in all it's doggy haired glory.  I will try to cherish it to the best of my ability... cherish the kids, NOT the dog hair that won't vacuum up no matter how hard I try.
