Today was football Saturday. Hayden loves going, probably because he is the biggest kid there and feels like quite a champ. Hudson hates going, probably because he would rather be chasing birds. (Literally, he would rather be chasing the birds. He did it for most of the practice today.) Coach Mark managed to get Hudson in on a play with Hayden leading the way. This was hands down one of my favorite moments of the week. I hope you cheer right along with me!
Hayden had several touchdowns. I made sure I caught one on camera. He recently has been obsessed with wanting to be the "best" at something. If you ask him what he thinks he is the best at, or what he thinks his real live super hero power is, he will tell you it is that he is "fast." He really, truly believes that he is not only the fastest in our family, but also the fastest kid out there. This self-perception may be a tad over zealous, but he does have some sweet moves. His uncles and papa would be proud.
