Baby Girl in her traveling clothes, ready for the long day. |
On a plane, in the air, flying. Honolulu bound. Kids are settled in. Hayden is exploring a whoopie cushion. Hudson is tugging on silly putty while green caterpillar patiently watches. Hadley is just dozing off. it is peaceful now. How many minutes will that last? I already changed two poop filled diapers on the plane... Of course this is the one plane still operating without the now standard changing tables in the lavatory.
We made it to the airport in monsoon like Minnesota rains. Papa and Auntie Julie drove us. We got to bypass the lines all throughout the airport.... Kinda like rock stars, all because Hadley is under two. Thanks baby girl! Grandma decided that she is going to start her new career as the, "Flying Gramma Nanny.... She'll help get you there with your sanity!" Catchy, right? We should copyright that now.

Our ticket to the front of the security checkpoint! |
After a three hour flight from Minneapolis to Seatle, a four hour layover and a five and a half hour flight from Seattle we arrived in Honolulu about 2am Minnesota time. We were exhausted. But we made it in onc piece. SUPER grateful that our flying Nanny had come with. The kids traveled like pros. I couldn't have been prouder to be their momma.
