North Shore Marathon 2014
26.2 has finally happened. It is done. Bucket list checked. A distance I began to ponder 13 years ago, when my dad finished the Twin Cities Marathon. Since then I have watched many friends and even a cousin go the distance, time and time again. 2014 was my year. My "one and done." It is a beautiful thing to have it behind me. And it wouldn't have been possible without a husband who let me log bunches of weekend hours running the past 16 weeks. So to him, and all the fam and friends who ran with me and cheered me on both here and across the Pacific, I am grateful. Very, very grateful.
