Day Four

It was like a veil had lifted and my eyes were more acutely aware of the good things around... so, today I have more than just one thanksgiving to type...
* I am thankful for mornings that start with a quiet house, hot coffee and an open Bible in my lap.
* I am thankful for the pitter-patter of little feet on the ceiling above me as the morning house quickly comes alive.
*  I am thankful for a husband who took the initiative to de-gunk the shower drain... WITHOUT me even asking, so that I can once again shower free of water up to my ankles.
*  I am thankful for the generosity that has taken root in Hudson's little heart.
* I am thankful for the cool breeze that lasted all day.
* I am thankful for a spontaneous play date at the splash park that just happened to work out.
* I am thankful for legs that can jump, arms that can push and a back that has been pain free for TWO YEARS NOW!!!  WOW!

Mostly though... I am thankful that I have been choose to be the one who gets to speak love and promise and hope into my children.  This is an honor I never want to take for granted.  And may a day not go by where they don't hear it from me...
You are a wise, happy boy whom I am so proud of.
You are a strong, generous boy whom I am so proud of.
You are my sweet, peaceful girl whom I am so proud of.
